Woolworths' Waffle-misu Recipe


Elevate your dessert game with this delightful mashup. This Waffle-misu layers crispy waffles with creamy mascarpone and coffee for an extradinary sweet treat.


Ingredients

1/4 cup Woolworths freeze dried classic coffee

2 tbs Woolworths maple syrup

750g Woolworths mascarpone

1/3 cup icing sugar, sifted

10 Belgian mini waffles

2 tbs cocoa powder

250g strawberries

Directions

Step 1

Place coffee in a large shallow heatproof bowl. Add syrup and 1 cup boiling water. Stir until coffee dissolves.

Step 2

Combine mascarpone and sugar in a large bowl.

Step 3

Working in batches, dip 5 waffles in coffee mixture, then place over the base of a 22x18cm (base) rectangular dish. Spoon half of the cream mixture over the waffles to cover. Smooth surface. Dust with 1 tbs cocoa. Repeat layers. Top with strawberries. Serve dusted with remaining cocoa.
